3D-Printed Cut Guides

The 3D-Side technology provides a patient-matched, single use, 3D-printed surgical instrument in the form of an osteotomy or bone resection guide. Based on digital, preoperative planning (CT), the guides are intended to assist physicians in bone marking and performing precise bone cuts in deformity correction and bone tumor resection surgeries. A draft treatment plan is submitted for evaluation to the treating clinician. Upon the surgeon’s approval, a PSI is designed, approved by the surgeon, and the guide is 3D-printed and shipped to the hospital.  A full 3D model of the bony structures can also be provided for visualization and patient education.

Rendering implants from the Fassier Duval system

Fassier-Duval Telescopic Intra-Medullary System®

The Fassier-Duval Telescopic Intramedullary System is a self-extending rod designed for patients suffering from Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), skeletal dysplasia and other bone deformities. Created to prevent or stabilize fractures or correct deformity of long bones while growth occurs.

This product is indicated as a temporary implant to aid in the healing of long diaphysis fractures, osteotomies, malunions and non-unions and to prevent further fractures in the femur, tibia and humerus of pediatric patients. It can also be used in procedures such as bone lengthening/shortening concomitantly with external fixators in pediatric or small stature patients with limb length discrepancy.

Available in five diameters: 3.2, 4.0, 4.8, 5.6 and 6.4 mm, up to 420 mm in length.

GIRO™ Growth Modulation System

Note: This system is currently in a limited market release and is not available in most regions

The GIRO™ Growth Modulation System is a tether device intended for guided growth and deformity correction. It is indicated for pediatric patients to aid in the correction of angular deformities of long bones and limb length discrepancy.

The GIRO is a coupling assembly comprised of two 2.5 mm thick couplings linked via a multifilament cable. The flexible tether assembly is intended to behave similarly to a two-hole plate with the added benefit of multi-directional flexibility and low profile due to its advanced contouring of the bone surface.

All components are manufactured in medical grade stainless steel. The GIRO is offered in two family sizes, 4.5 and 6.0, with lengths ranging from 16 to 32 mm, in 2 mm increments. Corresponding Screws are available from 20 to 35 mm, and Post assemblies, from 40 to 80 mm, both in 5 mm increments.

Features and Benefits:

  • Minimally invasive treatment of rotational deformities
  • Low profile and bone contouring
  • Strong cortex-to-cortex Post fixation for temporary epiphysiodesis
  • Cannulated Screws and Posts

Rendering of the parts of the LolliPOP system

LolliPOP™

The LolliPOP (Locking Pediatric Osteotomy Plate) system is an innovative modular blade-plate system for stable fixation of pediatric proximal femoral osteotomies and fractures. LolliPOP is indicated as a temporary device for stable fixation of proximal femoral osteotomies (PFO) in the pediatric (ages 2 to 21 years old) population.

Advantages:

  • Varus and Valgus Plates range from 90° to 140° of NSA
  • Chisel free technique reduces OR time and trauma
  • Modularity provides surgical flexibility and reduced inventory
  • Intuitive instrumentation allows precise control of correction
  • Blade construct provides stability in rotation
  • Plate design creates a biomechanically correct femoral offset

Cerament / Cerament G Bone Void Filler

CERAMENT BONE VOID FILLER is an injectable, moldable and drillable synthetic bone void filler consisting of 40% hydroxyapatite, 60% calcium sulfate and the radio-contrast agent iohexol.

The unique ratio of hydroxyapatite and calcium sulfate is designed to enable CERAMENT to resorb at the same rate that bone forms. Calcium sulfate acts as a resorbable carrier for hydroxyapatite, and hydroxyapatite is highly osteoconductive, promoting bone ingrowth.

Cerament G contains gentamicin sulfate and is the first and only injectable antibiotic-eluting bone graft indicated for the use in the management of bone infection.

PediPlates

PediPlates®

The PediPlates system, which includes the I-Plate, O-Plate, and Delta Plate, provides a physeal tethering technique that does not disrupt the integrity of the physis, or growth plate. It features simple plate and screw constructs that span the growth center and restrain the physis by inhibiting growth where the plates and screws are applied. The system also features stainless steel plates and screws, which provide excellent strength, resistance to breakage, and ease of removal.

The PediPlates O-Plate addresses the majority of patient needs by providing two-hole physeal tethering, while the I-Plate provides the opportunity for additional fixation through the use of four, rather than two, screws. The Delta Plate, which is the newest addition to the system, meets the need for greater flexibility in screw placement and allows for maximum screw divergence throughout the plate.

LCB

Locking Cannulated Blade (LCB) Plate

The Locking Cannulated Blade (LCB) plate system offers comprehensive treatment options for pediatric hip deformity, fixed knee flexion deformity, and trauma. The system provides enhanced fixation in bone by using locking screws in the proximal and distal fragments. It also restores the mechanical axis of the lower limb through the use of multiple offsets, giving surgeons the ability to achieve reproducible results with uniquely designed instrumentation.

The LCB system is offered in three size ranges – infant, child, and adolescent. Each offers the ability to insert a locking or nonlocking screw into femoral neck to dynamically compress the fracture and osteotomy sites to create a stable construct.

Infant LPF

Locking Proximal Femur (LPF) Plate

The Locking Proximal Femur (LPF) plate system is designed for long bone fractures and osteotomies in children and adolescents, and is indicated for derotational and angular osteotomies, where a bone is cut to shorten, lengthen, or change its alignment. The system’s implants and instruments are used to perform varus and valgus osteotomies for patients with varus, or bow-legged, deformities or valgus, or knock-kneed, deformities.

All plates offer the ability to insert three screws into the femoral neck and dynamically compress the osteotomy site, thereby creating a stable construct. Also, instruments and implants are cannulated to enable the surgeon to maintain control of bony fragments throughout the entire procedure.

DFOS

Distal Femoral Osteotomy System (DFOS)

The DFOS system includes implants to correct several distal femoral conditions, such as flexion contractures and varus/valgus deformities. Offset plates help maintain the mechanical axis. The instrumentation includes a pin guide and cut guides to assist with more precise osteotomies and implant placement.

PediFoot

PediFoot

OrthoPediatrics is pleased to announce the launch of the first pediatric-specific Foot Deformity Correction system – PediFoot! The PediFoot System is intended for fixation of fractures, osteotomies, nonunions, replantations, and fusions of small bones and small bone fragments. Examples include, but are not limited to, the hand, wrist, foot, and ankle. This system offers the smallest plates and screws, which enable greater effectiveness in addressing the four most common pediatric foot deformities: cavus foot, flatfoot, clubfoot, and hallux valgus. It is the first product to feature the unique StarLoc variable angle locking technology.
