Fassier-Duval Telescopic Intra-Medullary System®

The Fassier-Duval Telescopic Intramedullary System is a self-extending rod designed for patients suffering from Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), skeletal dysplasia and other bone deformities. Created to prevent or stabilize fractures or correct deformity of long bones while growth occurs.

This product is indicated as a temporary implant to aid in the healing of long diaphysis fractures, osteotomies, malunions and non-unions and to prevent further fractures in the femur, tibia and humerus of pediatric patients. It can also be used in procedures such as bone lengthening/shortening concomitantly with external fixators in pediatric or small stature patients with limb length discrepancy.

Available in five diameters: 3.2, 4.0, 4.8, 5.6 and 6.4 mm, up to 420 mm in length.

SLIM™ – Simple Locking IntraMedullary System

The SLIM (Simple Locking IntraMedullary) System is indicated as a temporary implant to ensure alignment, stabilization, and fixation of long bones that have been surgically prepared for correction of deformities, or fractures caused by trauma or disease.

GAP Nail™ Endo-Exo Medullary System

The GAP Endo-Exo Medullary System consists of an intramedullary nail linked to a lateral buttress plate, via lag and mechanical screws, creating a combined endomedullary / exomedullary osteosynthesis device. This novel approach of osteosynthesis creates a load sharing system between the nail and plate, thus limiting the risk of stress fractures and improving the implant stability in weak bones.

Free-Gliding SCFE Screw System™

The Free-Gliding SCFE Screw System is specifically designed to treat the most common hip problem in growing children: Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE). This screw is intended to prophylactically prevent or stop further slippage of the capito-femoral physis in children with open growth plates, without affecting the normal growth of the proximal femur.

Medial and lateral threaded fixations, connected through a trilobe self-extending shaft, aim to increase overall stability (both longitudinal and rotational) while avoiding the risk of premature physeal closure.

The Free-Gliding SCFE Screw System is available in 6.5 mm and 7.3 mm diameters, with lengths ranging from 60 mm to 102 mm in 2 mm increments, and with a maximum of 30 mm of growth potential.

GIRO™ Growth Modulation System

The GIRO™ Growth Modulation System is a tether device intended for guided growth and deformity correction. It is indicated for pediatric patients to aid in the correction of angular deformities of long bones and limb length discrepancy.

The GIRO is a coupling assembly comprised of two 2.5 mm thick couplings linked via a multifilament cable. The flexible tether assembly is intended to behave similarly to a two-hole plate with the added benefit of multi-directional flexibility and low profile due to its advanced contouring of the bone surface.

All components are manufactured in medical grade stainless steel. The GIRO is offered in two family sizes, 4.5 and 6.0, with lengths ranging from 16 to 32 mm, in 2 mm increments. Corresponding Screws are available from 20 to 35 mm, and Post assemblies, from 40 to 80 mm, both in 5 mm increments.

The Hinge Pediatric Plating System is an articulated plate and screw system that corrects knee deformities in children through growth modulation. This innovative plate is intended to fix pediatric mal-alignment through a less-invasive, gentle correction.

The Focal Dome Beam Compass is based on the CORA method and utilizes a continuously variable radius that gives the option of selecting a precise radius from the CORA point and preparing the focal dome osteotomy. The Focal Dome Beam Compass and Drill Guide aid in attaining an accurate placement and alignment of the contiguous drill holes in a polar array of excellent precision. The complementary use of German-made osteotomes and Gigli saw further ensures a successful osteotomy.
