PediLoct Tibia

PediLoc® Tibia

The PediLoc Tibial Plate System features anatomically designed plates indicated for the treatment of pediatric tibia fractures and osteotomies, where a bone is cut in order to shorten, lengthen, or change its alignment. Three plate configurations – wide medial, narrow medial, and anterolateral – each with a metaphyseal flare, give surgeons more options in osteotomies and fracture fixation. The stainless steel plates are also low profile to reduce skin irritation and potential discomfort.

Pleo Plate

PLEO

The PediLoc Extension Osteotomy (PLEO) plate, also part of the renowned PediLoc family, is indicated for proximal, distal, and mid-shaft femur fractures. The system consists of 3.5mm and 4.5mm plates, left and right side specific. The PLEO plate is designed to fit the anatomy of the distal femur in children and adolescents, above the distal femoral physis, to avoid compromising the growth plate.

Plates are pre-contoured to minimize intraoperative plate bending and contouring, and designed to allow three locking screws to be placed in the distal bone segment at an angle parallel to the distal femoral physis. The proximal portion of the plate is designed to accept locking or non-locking screws.

PAO

PAO

The Periacetabular Osteotomy (PAO) is a complex procedure to reorient the acetabulum in patients with hip dysplasia. The PAO instruments were developed to facilitate two aspects of the procedure — exposure of the superior pubic ramus and creation of the posterior column osteotomy. The instruments feature: Pubis Retractor

  • Double-spiked tip to allow for stable anchoring into the ramus
  • 90° bend to facilitate anchoring into the ramus and holding of the retractor from the opposite side of the patient
  • Broad blade to safely retract the strong iliopsoas muscle and closely associated neurovascular bundle

Curved Offset Osteotomes

  • Curved blade to allow for a curved posterior column osteotomy. Crescentic cutting edge holds the cortex and prevents the osteotome from slipping off during use
  • Offset design retracts the soft tissues away from the osteotome blade, allowing a more minimally invasive technique
  • Left and Right sided instruments

Spica Table

Spica Table

The OrthoPediatrics Spica Table offers surgeons a properly engineered device for casting procedures. This radiolucent, lightweight, and durable device enables the user to carefully hold hip or femur reduction and take fluoroscopic images of the patient before application of the hip spica cast.

Transphyseal Screws

Transphyseal Screws

The Trans-Physeal Locking Screws were developed to provide surgeons the option of crossing the femoral capital physis without arresting growth when treating proximal femoral lesions or femoral neck fractures. In these settings, there is often insufficient bone in the metaphysis alone to achieve adequate fixation. The screws feature:

  • Smooth tip to allow crossing of the femoral head physis with little risk of arresting growth
  • Multiple smooth tip lengths to account for position in the femoral head epiphysis (epiphyseal height is greatest at the apex and decreases as you move out from it)
  • Ability to cross physis allows the spanning of proximal femoral lesions, which do no typically involve the epiphysis making that the only quality bone in which to achieve fixation
  • Locking screw design creates a fixed angle construct, which is vital for prophylactic procedures involving proximal femoral lesions
  • Available in 3.5mm
  • Available in 40 – 70mm lengths (in 2mm increments)
