These products aim to address specific pediatric indications such as varus/valgus deformity correction, rotational deformity correction, SCFE (slipped capital femoral epiphysis), limb lengthening and others. OrthoPediatrics is currently working in conjunction with some of the top pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the world to ensure the release of several proprietary technologies that will address a multitude of orthopedic conditions in a minimally invasive fashion.
Deformity Correction. Limb deformities in children are relatively common and occasionally require surgical treatment. Techniques that take advantage of open growth plates are unique and allow for gradual correction with significantly less morbidity than osteotomy. PediPlates®, by OrthoPediatrics offers the first complete solution of anatomically designed for physeal tethering. The new stainless steel I-Plate and O-Plate offer a secure implant, a minimally invasive approach and allow for immediate weight bearing, thus enhancing a speedy postoperative recovery.
Another addition to the PediPlates® family is the H-Plate. The H-Plate is low profile, has great material strength, yet allows contouring in 3 planes. These attributes lead to a safer and simpler technique allowing fracture fixation to be performed as close to the epiphysis as possible while minimizing the number of incisions required.

Pediatric Patient-Specific Implants. OrthoPediatrics' patient-specific implant capabilities are unique to the medical device industry. While most orthopedic companies have custom manufacturing departments that can take a standard line product and adapt it to fit certain defects, deformities or patient size, it has been the experience of those at OrthoPediatrics that these departments are not properly trained to read and truly interpret pediatric x-rays. OrthoPediatrics continues to grow its specialized in-house engineering expertise to quickly design and develop patient-specific implants for children. The team at OrthoPediatrics has extensive patient-specific and custom orthopedic product experience.
