Alan Lombardo Alan Lombardo brings more than 20 years of dynamic leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the bio-medical engineering sector to his role on OrthoPediatrics’ board of advisors. Mr. Lombardo is currently President and Founder of Appollonia, a dental implant company that develops and markets innovative products. Before forming his own company, he served as Vice President of Product Development for Blackstone Medical, an international developer of spinal implant and instrument products, which was recently acquired by Orthofix. During his tenure, Blackstone Medical grew to $115 million in annual revenue and established strong international distribution throughout Europe. Mr. Lombardo also worked as Manager of Product Development at Howmedica, a world leader in the development and marketing of total joint implants. He also served as a Project Engineer at Implex, and as a Product Development Engineer at Osteonics. Both companies market total joint implants.
Mr. Lombardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
