Brian Emerick Brian Emerick is an experienced and successful entrepreneur. He has been involved in leadership positions in five successful medical ventures and two successful manufacturing ventures. Mr. Emerick is the President and CEO of Micropulse, Inc., a manufacturer of spinal and orthopedic implants, instruments and delivery systems for many of the leading companies in the orthopedic industry. Mr. Emerick founded Micropulse in 1988 and is the sole owner of the company which employs over 155 people. In 1994, he co-founded Micropulse West, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona, which was successfully sold in 2004. He was also the Chairman of DVO, LLC, an orthopedic implant venture in Warsaw, Indiana, where he recently oversaw its sale to Tornier. Mr. Emerick recently founded Nanovis, a nanotechnology-biotechnology company located in the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is currently serving as the Chairman and CEO during the start-up phase. Mr. Emerick's experience with successful new medical ventures brings invaluable insights and leadership to OrthoPediatrics. Mr. Emerick holds an MBA from Notre Dame, studied Mechanical Engineering Technology at Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Marketing at Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds the designations of Certified Financial Manager and Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants and is also a trained Tool & Die maker and experienced machinist. He is a board member of the Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, Indiana, a finance committee member of the Parkview Health System of Fort Wayne, Indiana and member of the Technical Assistance Program Advisory Board at Purdue University. In addition to being an advisor to the board of OrthoPediatrics, Mr. Emerick serves on the board of Valparaiso Orthopedic Technologies, LLC, also in Warsaw, Indiana. |
