Kevin Countryman

Mr. Countryman began his career as a machinist before moving into industrial engineering at Aero Corporation in Bryan, OH. In 1984, he took the position of plant manager with Nemco, a contract manufacturing firm that serviced medical device companies, as well as clients outside of healthcare. After recognizing an unmet need in the market, Mr. Countryman left Nemco in 1992 and started his own company, CoMed (Countryman Medical) where he led as president and CEO. CoMed specialized in the design, development and manufacturing of splints and traction devices. He grew his company rapidly and eventually acquired his former employer, Nemco Medical. Mr. Countryman changed the name to Nemcomed and continued to expand his company to eventually include operations in two states and over 190 employees. In 2007, Mr. Countryman sold a majority interest of Nemcomed to Avalign Technologies where he presently sits on the company’s board of directors.

Mr. Countryman received his education in manufacturing and engineering from Northwest Technical College, Tri State University and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
